Role Description

This is a full-time or part-time, Self-Employed role working from home, within 1 hour's traveling of Belper, Derbyshire. The Mortgage Consultant will meet with clients to understand their financial circumstances and homeownership goals, assess eligibility, and recommend suitable mortgage products.   • Preparing and submitting mortgage applications
  • Liaising with lenders and other stakeholders
  • Ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of the Mortgage Industry and Mortgages, with the ability to advise on different products and options.
  • Background in Finance and Mortgage Lending, including assessing affordability and interpreting financial documentation.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on empathy, clarity, and responsiveness.
  • Ability to work at home, managing a varied workload and maintaining accurate records.
  • Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in mortgage advice or financial services are expected.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with a diverse range of clients.
  • Attention to detail, numerical proficiency, and a commitment to ethical and compliant lending practices.
  • Ability to generate your own leads on top of any referred to you by us.
