Role Description
This is a full-time or part-time, Self-Employed role working from home, within 1 hour's traveling of Belper, Derbyshire. The Mortgage Consultant will meet with clients to understand their financial circumstances and homeownership goals, assess eligibility, and recommend suitable mortgage products. - Preparing and submitting mortgage applications
- Liaising with lenders and other stakeholders
- Ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant
- Explaining complex financial information in clear terms
- Providing ongoing updates to clients
- Delivering a high level of customer service throughout the mortgage process
- Contributing to business development by building strong local relationships
- Maintaining detailed records of client interactions

Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the Mortgage Industry and Mortgages, with the ability to advise on different products and options.
- Background in Finance and Mortgage Lending, including assessing affordability and interpreting financial documentation.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on empathy, clarity, and responsiveness.
- Ability to work at home, managing a varied workload and maintaining accurate records.
- Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in mortgage advice or financial services are expected.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with a diverse range of clients.
- Attention to detail, numerical proficiency, and a commitment to ethical and compliant lending practices.
- Ability to generate your own leads on top of any referred to you by us.
