About the Role
The Marketing Operations Team Coordinator – Data Team coordinates marketing and data-related requests between Commercial, Data Teams, and Operational teams, translating business requirements into clear actions for technical teams. The role manages Data Team workflow in line with agreed SLAs and prioritizes requests according to business needs. It also ensures accurate and timely maintenance of pricing, promotions, item details, and recipes across key SSP systems, including POS, Kiosk, and OAT, while supporting till testing, new unit openings, and Commercial requests to ensure readiness before go-live. Through strong data integrity, accessibility, and alignment across the teams, the role helps improve operational efficiency and business value.
What you'll be doing:
- Manage and prioritize marketing and data-related requests across SSP own and franchise brands, ensuring work is completed accurately and in line with agreed SLAs, for example price changes, promotion updates, and new item requests.
- Collect, validate, and translate data from Marketing, Commercial, NPD, Trade, and Operational teams into clear formats for Data Teams, such as item setup, recipe data, and campaign templates.
- Coordinate system setup, till configuration, testing, and go-live support for campaigns, new units, and operational changes, including till checks, menu visibility, and launch readiness.
- Investigate and resolve data, system, and unit-related issues in collaboration with Service Desk, Operations, Commercial, NPD, Data Teams, and 3rd parties, for example pricing errors, missing items, or promotion issues.
- Administer relevant platforms to support workflow tracking, campaign setup, and colleague discount activity, including service management platform, workflow system, and loyalty and promotion platform where required.
- Own, review, and continuously improve data request forms and templates to ensure sufficient and accurate information is collected from the business as requirements, processes, and systems change.
- Support process consistency and knowledge sharing by providing guidance and training to Brand Managers, Executives, and wider stakeholders, such as request templates, data submission requirements, and system processes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
