MOT Tester

About The Role
Are you a qualified MOT Tester looking to take the next step in your career? Join the dedicated team at Wessex Garages Gloucester, where your expertise will help keep our customers safe on the road and our reputation for quality service strong.
Responsibilities
- Carry out MOT tests on class 4 vehicles in line with DVSA standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections, accurately identifying defects and potential safety issues.
- Complete all MOT documentation and reports promptly and to a high standard, maintaining the integrity of the scheme at all times.
- Communicate clearly with our Service Advisors so they can explain test results and required repairs clearly to vehicle owners.
- Maintain a clean and professional working environment, adhering to company and DVSA requirements.

Requirements
You must:
- Have a valid MOT testing licence (minimum of class 4 accreditation) with DVSA, including an up-to-date annual training record and passed assessment.
- Show proven experience in MOT testing with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Exhibit excellent attention to detail, with a thorough understanding of vehicle testing procedures.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Be able to work efficiently—both independently and as part of a supportive team.
