MOT Tester – Worthing
Location: Worthing Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About The Role
We are currently seeking a qualified MOT Tester to join a busy and well-established automotive workshop in Worthing. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician with a valid MOT licence to join a professional team and work within a modern workshop environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards while maintaining the highest levels of quality, safety, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct MOT tests in line with current DVSA regulations and standards.
- Accurately complete all MOT documentation and inspection records.
- Identify and report vehicle defects and necessary repair requirements.
- Ensure all testing equipment is maintained and calibrated correctly.
- Collaborate closely with Service Advisors and Technicians to streamline workflow.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
- Strict adherence to all health and safety and company compliance procedures.
- Support workshop operations as required.

Requirements
- Valid Class 4 MOT Testing Licence.
- Previous experience as an MOT Tester in a dealership, independent garage, or fast-fit environment.
- Strong knowledge of DVSA testing procedures and regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Team player with a positive and professional attitude.
- Full UK driving licence.
