Hours: 08:00-17:30 (Mon-Fri) | 08:30-13:00 (1 in 3 Sat) | 30 minute lunch break |
Pay: £35,000 - £45,000 (OTE)
About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MOT Tester to join our team at Walton Audi, part of the trusted Drift Bridge Group. This role is essential in ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of Audi vehicles through accurate and efficient Class 4 MOT testing.
As an MOT Tester, you will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and regulatory compliance, while supporting our service department to deliver a seamless and professional aftersales experience. This position is ideal for an experienced motor trade professional who takes pride in precision, safety, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- MOT Testing: Conduct Class 4 MOT tests efficiently and accurately on Audi vehicles, ensuring full compliance with DVSA standards and Audi Approved guidelines.
- Vehicle Inspections: Identify defects, wear, or safety concerns during testing and provide clear, professional advice on required repairs or corrective actions.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all MOT results, inspections, defects identified, and recommended repairs in line with regulatory requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with service advisors, technicians, and workshop staff to ensure smooth workflow and achievement of daily business objectives.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all testing procedures and documentation meet DVSA regulations and manufacturer standards at all times.

Skills and Attributes
- Qualified Tester: Must hold valid MOT Class 4 Tester certification with proven experience in the motor trade.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy, safety, and compliance in all aspects of vehicle inspection and testing.
- Technical Expertise: Confident in identifying mechanical and safety issues with the ability to make clear, informed recommendations.
- Communication Skills: Ability to clearly explain findings to colleagues and support teams effectively.
