MOT Tester — Skoda Bradford

We are currently looking for an experienced MOT Tester to join our team.

Our business has been a family-run operation for over 60 years. Evolving from modest beginnings, we’ve grown to rank in the top 50 car dealers in the country.

About You

Your responsibilities will vary based on experience and qualifications, including:

  • MOT testing
  • Maintenance and repair work, such as:
    • Tyre fitting
    • Servicing
    • Basic mechanical repairs

This role is ideal for someone looking to build and progress their skills into advanced mechanical work over time.

We welcome applicants with:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications
  • Experience working in a busy volume franchised dealer environment (or independent garage/dealer)

Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • Drive, passion, and enthusiasm to thrive
  • Capability and confidence in safely operating workshop equipment
  • At least NVQ Level 3 technical training + work experience in a franchised dealer or independent garage
  • MOT testing certification (essential)
  • Previous experience in used car prep

Working Hours

  • Monday–Friday: 08:30–17:00
  • Saturday: 08:30–12:30 (on a one-in-three rotation)

Requirements:

  • Full UK driver’s licence
  • Own tools
