MOT Tester | Vehicle Technician | Mechanic
📍 Location: Hyundai, Oldham
💰 Salary: £32,000 – £42,000 basic + uncapped commission
📅 Working Hours: Full-time
📅 Start Date: Immediate
About the Role
Holdcroft is seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join our Hyundai, Oldham team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, thrives within a professional team, and is eager to develop their career in a fast-paced dealership environment.
In this key role, you will perform essential workshop duties including MOT testing, vehicle servicing, and repairs, ensuring all work complies with DVSA and manufacturer standards. Emphasis will be placed on safety, efficiency, and high-quality service delivery.

Your Responsibilities
- Carry out MOT tests on customer vehicles
- Undertake servicing and repairs as required
- Ensure adherence to MOT and manufacturer standards
- Comply with company procedures and compliance regulations
- Efficiently manage workload to meet daily targets
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
- Collaborate seamlessly with the aftersales team

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A valid MOT Tester licence
- Mechanical servicing and repair experience
- Strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and high standards
- Organisation, attention to detail, and strong paperwork skills
- Effective communication with colleagues and customers
- A full UK driving licence
- A proactive and motivated attitude towards work
