The Opportunity Join a fast-growing B2B tech agency with big ambitions and real momentum. You’ll work with innovative, world-leading brands to deliver integrated campaigns that drive awareness, create opportunities, and fuel global growth. We’re looking for a Motion Art Director — a true second-in-command who combines senior motion craft with strategic thinking and project-level ownership across brand, product, and marketing campaigns. You’ll shape the motion approach from brief to delivery, create high-quality 2D and 3D work, support and mentor the Motion team, and help raise the standard of creative output across every project. Working closely with the Creative Director — Motion, and alongside the wider Creative, Strategy, and Delivery teams, you’ll take ownership of key motion decisions, quality assurance, and delivery reviews. The Role Lead the motion approach across selected projects, from concept through to delivery. Create high-quality 2D, 3D, editing, and post-production work across brand, product, and campaign projects. Turn complex products and technical stories into clear, engaging motion-led narratives. Develop concepts, styleframes, animatics, edits, and motion tests that bring ideas to life. Maintain high creative, technical, and brand standards through QA and review processes. Collaborate with Creative, Strategy, Delivery, and Account teams to scope projects, manage timelines, and flag risks early. Present motion thinking clearly to internal teams and clients where needed. Improve workflows, production processes, and reusable assets across the Motion team. Support and mentor midweight Motion team members through feedback, guidance, and leadership. Share technical expertise across After Effects, Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D, and Redshift. Stay current with AI, Unreal Engine, and realtime production tools, helping evolve the team’s capabilities. Lead by example through strong craft, ownership, reliability, and calm problem-solving. About you Strong motion direction instincts, with the ability to shape visual storytelling, animation language, pacing, and 2D/3D execution. Hands-on proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, Cinema 4D, and Redshift. Deep understanding of animation, editing, composition, lighting, materials, rendering, compositing, and finishing. A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating concept thinking, storytelling, and polished execution. Experience crafting stories around complex products, systems, services, or technical subject matter. Ability to lead motion projects independently from brief through to delivery. Confidence presenting and discussing ideas internally and with clients. Experience guiding motion designers through feedback, QA, and practical direction. Curiosity around Unreal Engine, AI-assisted workflows, and realtime production, with a practical approach to experimentation. Significant senior-level experience across motion design, animation, 3D, video, or post-production. You'll also embody how we work: Think bigger. You don’t let someone else’s imagination or fear hold you back. Stay connected. It’s about relationships with colleagues and clients, always keeping your finger on the pulse. Own it. You are the absolute boss of your own job, brief, account, project, idea, meeting – you name it, you own it. Keep it real. You are up-front, open and honest.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
