Job Title: Motion & Graphic Designer
Department: Creative
Location: Beckenham
Hours: 40 hours per week plus overtime
Contract type: Full time, maternity cover (9-month fixed term contract September 2026 - May 2027)
Salary: Up to £50k p.a.

We are seeking a talented and versatile Motion & Graphic Designer to join our creative team. This role combines strong graphic design fundamentals with motion design expertise, supporting the creation of compelling visual content for pitches, presentations, marketing campaigns, events, conferences, and client projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing creative concepts from initial brief through to final delivery, producing both static and animated content that exceeds client expectations. They will demonstrate a keen eye for design, attention to detail, excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver high-quality creative solutions within demanding deadlines.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative Design & Concept Development
- Interpret creative briefs and develop engaging visual concepts, themes, story narratives and key messages.
- Create mood boards, concept visuals, storyboards, style frames and pitch assets to support proposals and presentations.
- Design creative materials for events, conferences, award shows, exhibitions, marketing campaigns, brochures, adverts and digital platforms.
- Adapt designs across multiple formats while ensuring consistency and brand integrity.
Motion Graphics & Animation
- Create high-quality motion graphics and animated content for internal and client projects.
- Design and animate on-screen content for live events, award ceremonies and conference presentations.
- Produce short-form videos, animated sequences and digital visual assets.
- Develop engaging visual content using motion, typography, transitions and visual effects.

Graphic Design & Production
- Create print and digital artwork from concept through to final production.
- Produce sales and marketing collateral including brochures, presentations, social media graphics and promotional materials.
- Ensure artwork is accurate, print-ready and delivered to specification.
- Maintain consistency across all creative outputs in line with client brand guidelines.
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate closely with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Attend client meetings, creative briefings and project reviews as required.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining excellent quality standards.
- Proof and quality-check creative work before final delivery.
- Track project time and complete associated administration in line with departmental processes.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design and Motion Design or a related creative field.
- Minimum 2 years' professional experience in motion and graphic design.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including:
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- InDesign
- After Effects
- Premiere Pro
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, branding and visual communication.
- Experience producing both print and digital creative assets.
- Portfolio demonstrating a broad range of graphic design and motion graphics projects.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
Desirable
- Experience with Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine or other 3D software.
- Knowledge of web design and digital content creation.
- Understanding of live event graphics, scenic design and presentation design.
- Basic Vectorworks or CAD knowledge.
- Experience creating end-to-end presentation decks.
- Knowledge of print production processes and artworking.
