Motion Graphics Designer
About Vidsy
Vidsy is a global creative platform transforming how the world’s biggest brands create video advertising across paid social. With teams across NYC, LA, Toronto, and London, we partner with global advertisers like L’Oréal, Amazon, and PepsiCo, enabling them to produce creator and AI-powered video advertising at scale.
The Role
If your idea of a bit of fun is popping open After Effects and having a play, then you're in the right place. As one of our superstar Designers, your role involves:
- Partnering with internal creative teams and our external creator community to deliver high-quality content for leading brands such as Google, L’Oréal, Pepsi, Unilever, and Warner Bros, along with exciting startups.
- Moving beyond the traditional motion graphics designer role.
- Working as a video native, embedding yourself throughout our entire creative process.
- Creating original content like concepts and ideas for brands, briefing external creators, and refining their work to ensure top-level client-ready results.
What You'll Be Doing
- Collaborating cross-functionally with the Vidsy Team to develop creative social content concepts.
- Directing and mentoring our external Creator Community to optimise their video productions.
- Reviewing, editing, and policing creators' videos to ensure a polished final output.
- Adapting content for different social platforms to ensure relevance and engagement.
- Staying current with social media trends and best practices to refine our output.
- Producing high-quality videos at scale for big brands viewed by millions daily.

Requirements
- Social media expertise: You must be a social native, meaning your passion lies in Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat. Social video experience is non-negotiable, it’s almost your calling ❤️.
- Creative thinking: Ability to develop fresh visual concepts and designs that will woo big brands.
- Technical proficiency:
- Advanced skills in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- Experience with Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Work ethic: Organised, meticulous, and methodical approach to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
- Collaborative Spirit: Thriving in a super collaborative environment.
- Deadline-conscious: Ability to execute tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Autonomous Work Style: Ability to thrive both in small teams and independently.
