Marble Arch is a fast-growing, established MGA specialising in niche motor insurance for the UK motor market.

ROLE PURPOSE

We’re looking for an experienced Third-Party Claims Adjuster to join our liability claims team, based in Diss, South Norfolk.

You’ll have credit hire experience with technical knowledge and experience in handling claims up to £50,000. You’ll be comfortable handling your own portfolio and be an effective communicator.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • To manage third-party claims focusing on indemnity, liability, and quantum.
  • Review claims regularly using the diary system to ensure accurate reserves and timely closure.
  • Respond to all written and phone enquiries clearly, courteously, and promptly.
  • Clearly explain decisions on liability, negotiating settlement within authority level where appropriate.
  • Evaluate quantum by gathering relevant evidence, adjusting reserves in accordance with company reserving processes.
  • Set clear expectations and next steps to the client.
  • Liaise with internal and external partners at all levels.
  • Develop relationships with clients by providing a friendly, efficient service.

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

The role will require the successful candidate to be competent handling all aspects of third-party motor claims, up to a value of £50,000.

  • Credit hire experience is essential.
  • The ability to handle and negotiate detailed liability scenarios, managing your own portfolio of litigated claims.
  • Knowledge of motor is essential.
