Motor Claims Handler (Entry Level) – Norwich Office

hackajob is collaborating with Verisk to connect them with exceptional professionals for this role.

About the Role

No prior experience is necessary—training will be provided.

You’ll be based in our Norwich office, with the opportunity for hybrid working once you’ve reached competency. We pride ourselves on supporting employees with their development, offering varying progression opportunities.


Responsibilities

As a Motor Claims Handler, you will be responsible for:

  • Proactively managing claims relating to vehicle damage caused by accidents.
  • Reducing claimant hire periods by closely monitoring progress and adhering to tight deadlines to restore the claimant to their pre-accident position as quickly and efficiently as possible—without incurring unnecessary costs for our customer.
  • Liaising with external stakeholders:
    • Engineers
    • Brokers
    • Policyholders
    • Third-party companies/garsages
    • Via phone (primary) and occasionally via email or letter to assess accident circumstances and determine liability.
