The Role
Motor Fraud Solicitor - Birmingham / Manchester - Hybrid - up to £55,000
A highly regarded national law firm is seeking a Motor Fraud Solicitor to join its expanding Manchester or Birmingham team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a market‑leading Counter‑Fraud department handling complex, high‑profile fraud disputes for major insurers and commercial clients.
As a Motor Fraud Solicitor in the Manchester or Birmingham team, you’ll manage a challenging litigated caseload, take ownership of case strategy, and play a key role in the continued growth and success of the department.
Responsibilities
- Managing a complex caseload of litigated Motor Fraud matters
- Developing and executing case strategy from instruction to resolution
- Handling high‑profile and technically challenging fraud disputes
- Drafting pleadings, correspondence and evidence for litigation
- Engaging in business development and client relationship activity
- Supporting departmental growth through client engagement initiatives
- Mentoring junior colleagues where appropriate
- Contributing to the strategic direction of the Counter‑Fraud team

The Candidate
- Experienced Solicitor or Litigation Executive managing a Motor Fraud caseload
- Strong technical understanding of fraud litigation
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills
- Confident prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and confident in liaising with clients and colleagues
- Team‑focused with the ability to work independently
- High attention to detail and strong analytical ability
