Full job description
A Digital Sales Executive at Cars2 Renault & Dacia Barnsley focuses on converting online and phone enquiries into appointments and sales while delivering an outstanding customer experience. The role blends customer communication, digital retailing, and support for the wider site team.
⭐ Role Overview
The Digital Sales Executive is responsible for handling all incoming and outgoing customer enquiries across phone, email, live chat, and online platforms. The goal is simple: create meaningful conversations that lead to appointments, test drives, and vehicle sales. You’ll be the first point of contact for many customers, so providing a friendly, professional, and efficient experience is essential.
Salary up to OTE of 45,000
Working days: Monday to Friday

- Respond promptly to all digital and telephone enquiries, ensuring every customer receives a warm, helpful, and knowledgeable response.
- Qualify customer needs and guide them through the buying journey, from initial enquiry to appointment or sale.
- Proactively follow up with customers to maximise conversion opportunities and maintain strong engagement.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and updates within the CRM system.
- Work closely with the on-site sales team to ensure smooth handovers and a seamless customer experience.
- Support the dealership by helping manage online listings, digital adverts, and enquiry platforms.
- Deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience that reflects the Cars2 brand values.
- Meet and exceed enquiry-to-appointment and enquiry-to-sale targets.
- Provide aftercare communication to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

Skills & Experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Confident handling high volumes of digital and phone enquiries.
- Sales experience (automotive preferred but not essential).
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
- Comfortable working with CRM systems and digital sales tools.
- A proactive, positive attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction.
