As an MOT Motor Vehicle Technician, you'll carry out MOT testing, servicing, repairs and maintenance across a wide range of vehicles, ensuring every customer receives a first-class experience and leaves with complete confidence in their vehicle.
You'll work with some of the world's leading manufacturers in a modern, fully equipped workshop, taking pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.
We're looking for technicians who are passionate about what they do and keen to continue learning. Through manufacturer-accredited training and continuous support, you'll have every opportunity to develop your career, gain specialist qualifications and progress to Senior and Master Technician status.

An average day as a MOT Motor Vehicle Technician…
Reporting to the Service Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional workmanship while meeting both franchise and company standards.
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of vehicles.
- Complete all work efficiently and accurately, meeting manufacturer, franchise and company quality standards.
- Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and perform vehicle testing using the latest equipment and technology.
- Replace components, parts, lubricants and consumables while maintaining accurate records and producing clear, professional job write-ups for both customers and manufacturers.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop, following all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Identify and communicate vehicle faults and future maintenance requirements through Vehicle Health Checks and our Video Health Check process, helping customers make informed decisions.
About You…

- You'll hold a minimum Level 2 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, together with a valid MOT Tester Licence.
- You'll be a great communicator who enjoys working as part of a team and delivering an excellent customer experience.
- You'll be confident working in a busy workshop environment, using your technical expertise to diagnose problems and find effective solutions.
- An Electric and Hybrid qualification would be an advantage, but it's not essential—we'll provide full training and support.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Most importantly, you'll take pride in your work, enjoy being part of a team and be motivated to continue developing your skills and career.
