Location: Leamington Spa Reporting to: Operations Director / Managing Director Salary range: Up to £45k

As the company invests further in its people, production capabilities and operational excellence, it seeks to appoint an experienced MPM Project Manager to drive strategic manufacturing projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives working across the entire business, delivering results that enhance quality, productivity, customer satisfaction and profitability.
The Role
The MPM Project Manager will oversee the planning, management and execution of manufacturing and engineering projects, from initial concept to successful implementation. Duties include:
- Improving manufacturing processes
- Introducing new equipment and technologies
- Supporting new product introductions
- Leading continuous improvement activities
Working closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Planning and Supply Chain, they will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and with minimum disruption to production.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturing improvement projects across the business
- Manage capital investment (CAPEX) projects, including machinery and equipment installation
- Improve production efficiency, productivity and workflow
- Identify ways to reduce waste, improve quality and lower manufacturing costs
- Deliver Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams and engage external contractors
- Develop project plans, budgets, risk registers and implementation schedules
- Support new product introduction (NPI) into manufacturing
- Review factory layouts and optimise production flow
- Monitor project performance via KPIs and report progress to senior management
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, environmental and quality standards
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure successful project delivery
- Support automation and digital manufacturing initiatives
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in managing engineering or manufacturing projects
- Strong grasp of manufacturing operations and production environments
- Experience delivering process improvement programmes
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Exceptional organisational and project planning skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets
- Ability to influence and engage teams across departments

Qualifications
- Degree, HNC or HND in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline
- Project management qualification (APM, PRINCE2 or PMP) desirable
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt advantageous
