Reporting to the Plant Manager and forming part of the Site Leadership Team (SLT), this role is responsible for leading the site's manufacturing planning, materials management and logistics functions to ensure the efficient flow of materials from supplier through to customer.

This is a strategic leadership role, responsible for developing and executing the site's supply chain strategy while ensuring customer demand is met through effective planning, inventory management and operational excellence. You'll work collaboratively with Production, Engineering, Procurement, Quality and Customer Service to optimise performance and drive continuous improvement across the business.

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that improve customer service, operational efficiency and working capital performance.
  • Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, aligning customer demand with production capacity and material availability.
  • Drive improvements in On Time In Full (OTIF), inventory accuracy, inventory turns and supplier performance.
  • Ensure robust production planning and scheduling processes are in place to support manufacturing operations and customer commitments.
  • Oversee material planning and inventory management, balancing service levels with inventory optimisation.
  • Work closely with Procurement and suppliers to minimise supply chain risk and improve continuity of supply.
  • Develop KPIs and performance reporting to monitor planning, logistics and supply chain performance.
  • Identify and deliver Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives across planning, logistics and material flow.
  • Lead, coach and develop the Manufacturing, Planning and Logistics team, promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring supply chain readiness for new product launches.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety requirements and operational standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
