MRF Supervisor - Rotherham

Working Pattern: 40 hours per week - Monday 05:00 – 14:00, Tuesday – Friday 07:00 – 16:00

Salary: £34,800 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a high level of health and safety is always maintained by reporting any issues or incorrect procedures to the management team.
  • To oversee, control and to be the responsible person for the day to day operating and monitoring of the MRF.
  • To ensure a safe, clean and productive work environment is always maintained.
  • To report daily to the MBT supervisors and management team on the performance of the plant.
  • Monitoring and providing light maintenance of equipment through autonomous maintenance practice.
  • To lead and mentor Refinement Operatives and MSOs.
  • Overall responsibility of Refinement (MRF) including its outputs and quality.
  • To drive and lead change in the process.
  • Attend CI meetings and take away actions.
  • To carry out any other such reasonable job-related tasks that the company may require.

Essential criteria:

  • Good understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance.
  • Good people/customer service skills and to be able to communicate at all levels throughout the company and externally.
  • Operation of plant equipment.
  • To be able to drive performance and meet KPI’s.
  • Computer literate.
  • Previous experience in leading a team.
  • Knowledge of controlling a rota.
  • Willingness to manage and lead projects within the team.
