Job Title: MRP, Planning and Production Controller
Location: Hartlebury
Salary: Up to GBP40k per annum
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning and Oversight:
- Responsible for creating, managing, and executing all production plans and schedules.
- Constant communication with production supervisors to ensure accurate scheduling of customer orders.
- Monitoring progress, identifying potential bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to keep orders on track and within budget.
- Coordinating efficient use of resources, including machinery, materials, and manpower, to optimize output without compromising quality.

Customer and Supplier Management:
- Serve as the main point of contact for a wide range of customers and suppliers.
- Excellent communication skills required to provide updates, address queries, and resolve any issues.
- Building and maintaining strong, professional relationships with supply chain partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and prevent production delays.
- Working closely with customers to confirm their requirements and exceed their expectations.

Order and Delivery Processing:
- Meticulous processing of all customer orders, including inputting order details into our MRP system.
- Generating necessary paperwork and coordinating with logistics to arrange and oversee all deliveries.
- Ensuring products are dispatched accurately and on time, maintaining clear and organized records of all transactions.
- Managing stock levels and conducting regular inventory checks to support efficient planning.

- Continuous Improvement:
- Active participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyzing production data, generating reports, and making recommendations to refine processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Providing insights to help the company evolve and adapt to industry changes, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the precision engineering sector.
Required Skills And Attributes

Technical Proficiency:
- Fully capable of working with business ERP/MRP planning systems to manage planning, inventory, and production data.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and Excel, for tasks such as data analysis, report generation, and professional correspondence.

Administration and Communication:
- Excellent business administration skills with a proven ability to manage office-related tasks, maintain accurate records, and handle confidential information.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for dealing effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams at all levels.

- Ability to think quickly on your feet and work on your own initiative.
