MSAT Manager

Permanent | Darlington | Up to £70,000

About the Role:

We are seeking an MSAT Manager to lead technology transfer activities into GMP manufacturing within an advanced biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Reporting into the leadership team, this is a highly visible role responsible for bridging the gap between process development and GMP operations, ensuring manufacturing processes are successfully transferred, implemented, and executed within a regulated setting.

This role combines technical leadership, people management, and customer engagement, making it ideal for someone who understands both clinical-stage bioprocessing and the practical realities of GMP manufacturing. You'll work closely with Development, Manufacturing, QA, QC, Bioengineering, Procurement, and external customers to ensure successful technology transfer and operational delivery.

What You'll Be Responsible For:

Technology Transfer & MSAT Leadership

  • Lead the transfer of development processes into GMP manufacturing facilities
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers throughout technology transfer projects
  • Ensure new processes are robust, scalable, and suitable for GMP manufacture
  • Coordinate activities across Process Development, Manufacturing, QA, QC, Bioengineering, and external stakeholders to ensure successful implementation

GMP Manufacturing Support

  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of manufacturing support and preparation activities
  • Ensure production activities are executed safely, compliantly, and to schedule
  • Support the introduction of new products and processes into manufacturing operations
  • Lead deviation investigations, impact assessments, CAPAs, and technical reviews associated with transferred processes

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
