Role Description

This is a self-employed on-site Physiotherapist role located in East Dulwich.

The Physiotherapist will assess patients, take detailed histories, and perform physical examinations to diagnose musculoskeletal and related conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role involves working closely with other clinicians, communicating clearly with patients about progress and treatment options, and contributing to continuous improvement of clinical practice. The Physiotherapist is expected to:

  • Maintain professional standards
  • Participate in CPD activities
  • Support a positive, inclusive clinic environment

Qualifications

  • Recognized degree in Physiotherapy and current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the relevant UK professional body (e.g., HCPC, CSP).
  • Clinical skills in musculoskeletal assessment, manual therapy, exercise prescription, and rehabilitation planning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport, explain treatment plans clearly, and support diverse patients with sensitivity and respect.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, including sound time management, organization, and caseload prioritization.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional development, and accurate clinical documentation and record keeping.
  • 5 years or more experience in private practice or outpatient settings is beneficial, along with familiarity with practice management systems and basic digital literacy.
  • Willingness to work Saturdays and evenings with occasional flexible hours in line with clinic needs and to contribute to a safe, inclusive, and non-discriminatory workplace.
