About the Role
The Multi-Asset Investment Liaison serves as a catalyst for collaboration within Global Investment Operations, acting as the bridge between Multi-Asset investment management and operational teams. The role enhances subject matter expertise through mentorship and hands-on learning, ensuring seamless alignment across functions.
In this dynamic position, you’ll:
- Support portfolio management operations
- Advocate for investment strategies internally
- Facilitate communication between investment teams and operational staff
- Contribute to team development, knowledge sharing, and departmental initiatives (e.g., new system development, testing, and working groups)

Role Summary
You will:
- Support investment teams across the entire client lifecycle, managing critical operational and investment-related activities.
- Serve as a vital external liaison between investments and operations, leveraging foundational business and technical expertise resolve complex challenges.
- Operate within established procedures while proactively contributing to process improvements.
- Own contributions to ensure quality and timeliness, integrating into agile environments with defined guidance.

Responsibilities
Core Support Functions

Under general senior guidance, support operational activities for multi-asset investment strategies (low-to-moderate complexity), including:
- Research & Analysis: Assessing investment, performance, and market data
- Reporting: Generating bespoke investment-, risk-, and performance-related reports
- Operational Support: Managing model portfolios, coordinating corporate action events, and mitigating pre-trade compliance issues independently
- Data Maintenance: Tracking strategy-level data, benchmarks, and performance composites
- Trade Processing: Handling discretionary trade orders
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshooting low-to-moderately complex operational challenges

Act as a resource for junior team members, aiding in operational tasks.
Autonomous Decision-Making
With discretion, support investment management initiatives, including:
- Proposal Development: Drafting guidelines, revising prospectus language, and establishing market access (e.g., opening foreign trading accounts, setting standing instructions)
- Client & Data Queries: Coordinating quantitative investment-related inquiries from:
- Internal teams (e.g., clients, consultants, prospects)
- Drafting responses to complex requests for senior review
- Content Reviews: Ensuring investment data accuracy for:
- Client meetings
- Marketing materials
- Investment committee meetings
Project Participation & Process Improvement
- As a project participant, contribute to investment-driven initiatives under senior guidance.
- Develops use cases and testing plans, participating in unit testing to ensure system success.
- Maintains procedural documentation for assigned strategies; collaborates in cross-training and provides operational coverage.

Training & Mentorship
- Assist in new employee onboarding, covering policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
- 2 minimum years of relevant experience in investment management (similar positions preferred).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with prior VBA experience advantageous.
- Sharp attention to detail critical for investment reporting accuracy.
- Strong organization and planning abilities.
Preferred
- Proven process improvement design/implementation.
- Enhanced Excel proficiency and interest in Python/SQL.
- Consultative approach in stakeholder interactions.
- Intellectual curiosity and critical-thinking capabilities.
- Ability to strategically problem-solve and mentor peers without direct oversight.
- Progress toward or completion of CFA/MBA.
Work Flexibility
This position is eligible for hybrid work, requiring one on-site day per week.
