Apprenticeship Programme
This apprenticeship role will lead towards achievement of a Level 3 Certificate in Multi-Channel Marketing. Training, support, and development will be provided to help the apprentice progress towards full competence across the required range of activities. This qualification reflects the ability to plan, activate, and execute an overarching marketing plan, including:
- Delivery of marketing strategies
- Appropriate channel selections
- Management of marketing budgets
- Campaign analysis
The apprentice will work in the marketing and communications team, with exposure to other areas of the business to experience a diverse range of activities and situations.
What will you be doing?
- Undertake a learning and development programme leading to a Level 3 qualification in Multi-channel Marketing.
- Actively participate in a development plan as agreed with the line manager and assessor.
- Assist with the day-to-day requirements of community marketing and communication at LFC Foundation.
- Provide clear and concise copy to support continuous marketing and communication campaigns.
- Attend and contribute to team meetings.
- Act as a role model for LFC Foundation’s values and professional standards.
- Support your department manager in delivering business and corporate plans.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in your area of responsibility.
- Support your manager with risk assessments, reporting any identified risks or issues.
- Adhere to LFC Foundation’s policies and procedures.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as directed.

Who are we looking for?
Requirements
- Experience of using MS Office applications effectively (including Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- Ability to organise and prioritise multiple work demands sensibly and logically, with flexibility to meet team needs.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
- Minimum of 5 GCSE passes, including GCSE English and GCSE Mathematics.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable Qualities
- Experience of using a range of communication methods.
- Experience working in a team and independently to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work under own initiative, knowing when to seek guidance.
- Problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyse and compile data clearly with attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of marketing and/or communication principles.
Why should you apply?
This is a 19-month fixed-term contract, offering 35 hours per week on a five-days-from-seven workflow, including weekly study days. The role covers two locations: Head Office at Chapel Street, Liverpool and Anfield Sports & Community Centre, Liverpool.
