Customer Delivery Operative
About the Role
We are looking for a Customer Delivery Operative to deliver goods to customers while providing an excellent customer service experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manual handling of heavy, bulky items in a safe and careful manner.
- Ensure customers receive the accurate hire equipment on time in a positive, friendly manner, aligning with our delivery targets.
- Resolve problems promptly, communicating effectively with customers and colleagues as needed.
- Follow safe working processes, including driving and loading/unloading, while operating machinery appropriately.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to meet customer requirements.
- Operate THX’s delivery IT system, updating system data and photographing equipment.
- Raise issues and improvement opportunities impacting THX operations.
- Identify sales opportunities during travel and report them to the sales team.

Requirements
- Experience in a customer-facing role delivering excellent customer service.
- Preferred: Previous professional driving/delivery experience, (not essential but useful).
- Manual handling skills and ability to manoeuvre heavy equipment.
- A valid, clean UK manual vehicle license.
- Computer literacy, familiarity with IT and navigation systems.
- Reliable, adaptable, and a strong team player.
- Comfortable driving in congested areas including London.
