Legal Secretary (Coalition Team) Bangalore

As a Legal Secretary, you'll support the Gee Law Firm, a progressive law practice known for its forward-thinking leadership and commitment to excellence. Your role involves juggling a range of legal and administrative tasks while collaborating with attorneys and other stakeholders to maintain seamless office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide efficient and accurate secretarial support to the attorneys and their teams, including but not limited to:
- Drafting and editing documents such as legal memoranda, filings, contracts, correspondence
- Preparing briefs, motions, and legal research memos under attorney supervision
- Document and filing management:
- Organizing and managing corporate documentation
- Handling case files and records in compliance with legal standards
- Maintaining organized and accessible filing systems, both digital and physical
- Administrative support across multiple offices:
- Coordination of correspondence, meetings, and appointments, both internally and externally
- Travel support and itinerary management
- Prioritize tasks effectively and manage a high-volume workload across multiple cases while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
- Represent the firm professionally with attorneys, clients, and external parties.
- Manage the smooth flow of all paperwork and logistics supporting internal communication between the various departments.

Core Competencies:
- High degree of organization, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Ability to multitask across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong typing and data entry skills along with mastery of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to adeptly handle confidentiality issues and protect sensitive case information.
Qualifications:
- A strong preference is for candidates educated in the field of law (or at least possessing a college education) but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite—especially Word and Excel—required
- suitable personality traits include responsibility, discretion, professionalism, organization and ability to multitask.
- Some experience in law or paralegal work would be favored but are not mandatory.
