Job Description
This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe, operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 3.5-tonne van to complete assigned daily pharmaceutical deliveries.
- Load and unload totes onto the van while maintaining their integrity and security.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries made, and any other relevant information.
- Communicate effectively with the transport team to relay updates or address any issues during the delivery process.
- Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure your van is in roadworthy condition.
- Ability to lift tote bins with a weight of up to 25kgs.
- Carry out upwards of 50 high-volume deliveries per day.
Requirements
- Valid manual driver’s licence with no more than 3 ‘live’ points
- Proven experience as a Multi Drop Van Driver or similar role
- Familiarity with local traffic laws and knowledge of assigned delivery areas/routes
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers and colleagues
- Ability to work independently while adhering to delivery schedules
