Multi Drop Van Driver (Temperature-Controlled Pharmaceutical Deliveries)
Location: Polar Speed Distribution Ltd, Unit 10 The Hub, Nobel Way, Birmingham, B6 7EU
Hours & Wage:
- Starting time: 0630
- Monday to Friday
- Hours per week: 40 (with potential for 48–52 hours including overtime)
- Hourly rate: £12.71
About the Role:
Join Polar Speed, a UPS company, and a specialist in temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical logistics. We deliver critical medical supplies—from hospitals, GP surgeries, retail pharmacies, and wholesalers—to homecare patients, ensuring compliance and reliability in a growth-focused logistics market.
As a Multi Drop Van Driver, you’ll be responsible for active temperature-controlled deliveries, including collections and patient-assisted stock management. This role demands exceptional customer service, flexibility, and adherence to tight schedules.

Responsibilities:
- Consignment management:
- Check and scan all consignments
- Perform daily safety vehicle and refrigeration unit checks
- Delivery commitments:
- Ensure accurate, timely deliveries while maintaining strict temperature controls
- Complete electronic delivery records and driver manifests
- Communication & compliance:
- Provide real-time service updates to track deliveries
- Demonstrate professional driving standards and a smart appearance
- Customer support (on occasion):
- Assist with stock rotation/returns for patients where required
Skills & Experience Required:
Must meet the following criteria for the role:
Minimum qualifications: ✔ B Category driving licence (as a priority, with no more than 3 points") ✔ 2 years’ prior driving experience (delivery experience highly advantageous)
