About The Role
Reporting to the Broker Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth within the Broker channel through proactive account management, business development, and relationship expansion. The role will work closely with brokers to identify new sales opportunities, grow existing accounts, increase market penetration, and support the achievement of key commercial objectives.
The role will contribute to the following core objectives:

- New Business Acquisition
- Cross-Sell & Up-Sell Opportunities
- Customer and Broker Advocacy
You'll Be Responsible For:
- Achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets, KPIs, and revenue objectives.
- Developing and managing relationships with assigned broker partners to maximize new business opportunities and account growth.
- Conducting proactive outbound calls and virtual meetings with brokers to identify sales opportunities, generate pipeline, and drive business development activity.
- Building and executing account plans to strengthen broker engagement, increase market share, and support business growth objectives.
- Identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling Cigna products and solutions within existing broker relationships.
- Supporting broker acquisition activities and developing relationships with prospective broker partners.
- Partnering with brokers to understand their clients' needs and position appropriate solutions to secure new business opportunities.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders including Sales, Underwriting, Client Management, and Operations to deliver an exceptional broker and customer experience.
- Maintaining accurate pipeline, sales activity, and opportunity records within CRM systems.
- Ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

What You'll Bring to the Role:
- Experience within a Customer Service/ Contact Centre environment is essential.
- Demonstrated experience working within a team environment.
- Experience of working in a multilingual capacity would be beneficial.
- 2 years (plus) sales experience is preferred.
- Outbound sales experience or a good knowledge of insurance products is preferred.
- A proven track record of success.
Skills and Qualities:
- Proven experience in a Sales, Account Management, or Business Development role.
- Experience working within the insurance, healthcare, or financial services sector is desirable.
- Demonstrated success in building and managing external client or broker relationships.
- Strong outbound sales, lead generation, and business development experience.
- Proven ability to identify opportunities, develop pipelines, and convert prospects into revenue.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple broker relationships while delivering against sales targets.
- Experience working within a regulated environment is advantageous.
- Experience working in a multilingual environment would be beneficial.
- A proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales objectives.
