The Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Multi-Point Glue Operative to join our production team. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideal for someone with experience in gluing operations, packaging machinery, or similar industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate multi-point gluing machines to ensure accurate
  • High-quality product output
  • Optimise and monitor machine performance,
  • Adjust settings and perform routine maintenance as needed
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications
  • Troubleshoot issues and communicate with the maintenance team when necessary
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Complete production records and follow company procedures
  • To work safely in accordance with Smurfit Westrock procedures

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating multi-point glue machines (preferred)
  • Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and job sheets
  • Comfortable working to deadlines and production targets
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate and value safe working and be able to communicate effectively throughout our business including suppliers.

Location & Hours

We are hiring a Multi Point Glue Operator working a continental 12-hour rota shift pattern at our industry-leading conversion plant on junction 29a of the M1. We are the Smurfit Westrock team at Markham Vale
