The Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Multi-Point Glue Operative to join our production team. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ideal for someone with experience in gluing operations, packaging machinery, or similar industrial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate multi-point gluing machines to ensure accurate
- High-quality product output
- Optimise and monitor machine performance,
- Adjust settings and perform routine maintenance as needed
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications
- Troubleshoot issues and communicate with the maintenance team when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Complete production records and follow company procedures
- To work safely in accordance with Smurfit Westrock procedures

Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience operating multi-point glue machines (preferred)
- Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and job sheets
- Comfortable working to deadlines and production targets
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate and value safe working and be able to communicate effectively throughout our business including suppliers.
Location & Hours
We are hiring a Multi Point Glue Operator working a continental 12-hour rota shift pattern at our industry-leading conversion plant on junction 29a of the M1. We are the Smurfit Westrock team at Markham Vale
