Equans is looking for a Multi Site Caretaker
Equans is looking for a Multi Site Caretaker to join our team across all Rotherham Schools, based in Wath Academy, S63 7NW on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £27,476.80 per annum.
Shift Pattern:
- Any 8 hours between 6:00am - 22:00pm
- Monday to Friday
- 1hr unpaid lunch
- Occasional overtime may be required in order to deliver the services we are contractually obliged to provide
What will you deliver?
As the Multi Site Caretaker, you will be a key holder and cover all aspects of general site management including:
- Litter picking
- Planned and reactive building maintenance
- Maintenance of the external site including preparations for seasonal changes to the outside areas
- Porterage
- Security
- Reception
- Being a key link between Equans and the school
You should have a keen eye for detail and be able to demonstrate a practical knowledge of DIY skills.

Who are we looking for?
- A Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience required in a trade or similar role
- To have excellent customer service skills
- Able to prioritise and work independently
- Able to use own initiative
- H&S experience in terms of manual handling and working at height
- To understand COSHH guidelines and colour coding
