Where and when do we need you?
As a Multi-site Family Support Worker You Will Have The Opportunity To Work Flexibly Across Our Family Residential Homes, Fostering Service And Family Contact Centre And Any Of Our Other Fantastic Services. Working On a Zero Hours Contract You Can Build a Rota That Suits You Including Days, Weekends, Evenings And Nights, Whilst Also Having The Amazing Opportunity To Engage Across The Charity And Make a Meaningful Difference To The Lives Of The Children, Vulnerable Adults And Families We Support In The Following Services
- Residential Family Centre: Observing, assessing, and monitoring the health, development and emotional well-being of parents and children, by promoting high standards of physical care, hygiene and safety for residents.
- Fostering Support: Providing daytime and evening respite to Foster Carers by taking the child/young person into the community for 1:1 support sessions.
- Family Contact: Providing a safe and supervised environment allowing families to work towards re- establishing relationships following possible breakdown or separation.
- Supported Living 16 years +: Encouraging the development of independent life skills for post-16 teenagers within a therapeutic caring environment. Interacting with young people and managing complex behaviour.
- Residential Children’s Homes: Contributing towards the maintenance of a positive, safe and homely environment within our residential service, including the promotion of a warm and accepting atmosphere, where the safety and care of young people is paramount.
- Education SEMH/ASD: Supporting the needs of our 3 specialist school sites providing support to students both onsite in lessons and offsite in exciting activities.

Our team of Multi-Site Support Workers are managed by our Bank Engagement Lead who is passionate about creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for our zero hours workers ensuring that they feel valued and supported in the vital roles they play as part of our dedicated and dynamic workforce.
Desirable…. But Not Essential
Whilst we value the knowledge and understanding that experience and qualifications can bring, we also know that some of our best people have come to us from unrelated backgrounds. These people already held our core values at heart, and with the dedication of our amazing in-house training and development team, we have supported the rest!
- Previous experience of working with young people and/or adults with health/social care/educational needs.
- A Level 3 qualification in childcare, social care, or another related discipline.
All candidates must have a full driving license and have access to the use of a car. Successful candidates will be required to provide an enhanced Disclosure (DBS). This disclosure cost will be met by Fair Ways. Fair Ways are unable to provide VISA sponsorship for this role and all applicants will need to be able to provide evidence of right to work in the UK.
