Multi-site Deputy General Manager

Bridgend & Cwmbran FWC | Operations Management | Fixed Term | Full Time

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum depending on experience, with £6,000.00 commission OTE p/a Hours: 40 per week Contract: 6-Month FTC with possibility for extension/permanent placement


About the Role

Due to an internal movement, this Deputy General Manager role is initially available on a 6-month fixed-term contract (FTC), with potential for transition to a permanent position based on business needs.

As Deputy General Manager, you will contribute to creating a client-led culture and environment where customer-facing teams deliver exceptional service across:

  • Hospitals
  • Clinical services
  • Wellbeing centres

You’ll oversee all aspects of service delivery while prioritising beneficiary experience—ensuring a seamless and customer-focused healthcare journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and promote a beneficiary-centred service, supporting customers at every stage of their health journey
  • Manage the complaints process to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), analysing trends and addressing issues proactively
  • Oversee Concierge/Front of House, fitness teams, and Food & Beverage services
  • Drive commercial success by increasing revenue across all key service lines and improving member retention—utilising feedback from satisfaction surveys
  • Develop initiatives and a culture that enhance customer satisfaction, boost future sales, and improve profitability
  • Deputise for the General Manager as required
  • Spearhead HR, payroll, and membership administration, ensuring full compliance with company policies and legislation
  • Ensure all financial and membership systems remain operational and effective
