Location: Market Harborough & surrounding areas Employer: Platform Property Care
About the Role
Platform Property Care is seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Operative/Plasterer to join their Repairs and Maintenance team. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing homes across Market Harborough, contributing to all wet trades, dry plumbing fixes, and general building repairs.
This role is suitable for a versatile trades professional who thrives in hands-on environments and is committed to delivering high-quality work.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Hands-on repair and maintenance of customer homes to a premium standard
- Supporting a skilled team across all wet trades (plumbing, roofing, tiling), plastering, bricklaying, and general building repairs
- Ensuring timely, precise, and efficient efforts, with attention to detail
- Acting as a professional in clients’ homes – demonstrating customer service, communication, and reliability
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety in all tasks
The role has varied responsibilities—each day brings a new set of challenges, ensuring no two tasks are exactly the same.

We’re Looking for Someone Who:
Core Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in multi-trade work, including plastering, bricklaying, and wet trades, with a strong focus on general building repairs
- NVQ Level 2 or higher in a relevant trade (essential)
- Proficient in working both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organisation, project management, and job-tracking skills
- A track record of completing work right-first-time, efficiently and safely
Personal Attributes
- Team player with a can-do attitude
- Demonstrating friendliness, dependability, and excellent communication
- Comfortable navigating customer’s homes and delivering a superior service
What You’ll Get in Return
- Basic salary up to £39,359 per year (depending on experience)

Additional Requirements
- Full valid driving licence (required for role)
- Available to live in Market Harborough (this is a local role)
- Pass DBS clearance (due to working in customers’ homes)
- If required for workload, must be available to join out-of-hours ona-call rota
