Role Description

The Multi Skilled Bodyshop Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kingston Upon Hull. The technician will carry out day-to-day tasks such as vehicle body repair, panel preparation, sanding, masking, and refinishing to approved standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in vehicle body repair, panel preparation, and refinishing techniques.
  • Experience with paint mixing, spray-painting, and color matching for automotive finishes.
  • Ability to perform minor dent repairs, scratch removal, and alloy wheel refurbishment.
  • Competence in using bodyshop tools, equipment, and materials safely and effectively.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on workmanship quality and meeting warranty standards.
  • Good time management and the ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment.
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a team.
  • Relevant vocational qualification or apprenticeship in vehicle body repair or refinishing is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a professional bodyshop or automotive repair setting is beneficial.
  • Commitment to health and safety practices and ongoing skills development.
