As we continue to build our in-house engineering capability, this role offers the opportunity to broaden your technical skills. Alongside day-to-day maintenance, you'll receive training to develop specialist engineering skills, including Emergency Lighting servicing, Fire Alarm servicing and Fire Door inspections.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carry out reactive maintenance across our UK salon portfolio, diagnosing faults and completing repairs safely and efficiently.
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities using our CAFM system (MaintainX), ensuring accurate records and compliance.
  • Diagnose and repair plumbing and mechanical building services, including: Toilets, Taps, Pipework, Waste systems, Pumps & Water heaters.
  • Diagnose faults with commercial hot water systems, identifying practical long-term solutions where possible.
  • Carry out electrical fault finding and minor electrical repairs within your competency, including lighting, sockets, fused spurs, isolation switches and fixed equipment.
  • Support HVAC maintenance through routine inspections, first-line fault diagnosis and coordination with specialist contractors.
  • Complete building fabric repairs including carpentry, decorating, flooring, silicone works and general repairs.
  • Support salon refurbishments, equipment installations and improvement projects.
  • Assist with statutory compliance activities, including Emergency Lighting servicing, Fire Alarm servicing and Fire Door inspections following training.
  • Identify recurring maintenance issues and recommend permanent engineering solutions to improve reliability and reduce contractor spend.
  • Build strong relationships with salon teams by providing a professional, responsive and customer-focused engineering service.
  • Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with company procedures and health & safety legislation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
