The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Carpenter to join their Responsive Repairs team, focusing on maintenance and repairs within occupied social housing properties. This is a permanent role with long-term job security, a varied workload, and great benefits.

Key Responsibilities
Typical duties include:
- Carpentry and joinery repairs
- UPVC door and window repairs
- Kitchen & bathroom repairs/installations
- General property maintenance
- Basic plumbing (toilets, basins, baths, taps & showers)
- Wall and floor tiling
- Patch plastering
- Painting and decorating
- Floor laying (including cap and cove flooring—desirable)
You’ll: ✔ Work independently, managing your own daily workload ✔ Operate via a handheld device for jobs ✔ Provide excellent customer service in a tenant’s home
Requirements
- Essential:
- Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Carpenter or Multi Trade Operative
- Strong carpentry & joinery skills (essential)
- Experience in occupied social housing (essential)
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery
- Basic plumbing, tiling & decorating skills
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality workmanship
