Zest are recruiting for an apprentice trained, multi-skilled engineer to join a leading food manufacturing business in the Leicester area.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment to minimise downtime and ensure production efficiency.
  • Fault-find and repair conveyors, motors, pumps, packaging machinery and other food processing equipment.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying and implementing engineering solutions to enhance safety, quality and productivity.
  • Ensure all maintenance work complies with food safety standards
