About Us

Growing is in our nature. Over 50 years ago, we started life as a small family farm with a handful of people and a modest range of crops. Today, we're a global farming and food business working thousands of acres and employing thousands of people around the world to grow, process, pack and market a range of fresh produce.

Supplying our premium produce to some of the UK's leading retailers and restaurants, we are very proud of what we do and how we do it. With our impressive green credentials, we truly are committed to sustainability, demonstrating continued investment in the latest technologies to help maintain our carbon neutral footprint.

The Role

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced, Production Support Engineer to join our busy, production and site engineering department. To enable us to continue meeting high industry demands and in order to maintain and exceed the highest levels of quality and customer service expected, we are keen to hear from suitably skilled and experienced engineering professionals who may be interested in joining our team.

The engineering team at Barfoots are pivotal to our success. With either a mechanical or electrical bias, candidates will have proven experience working in a similar environment, attending to machinery breakdowns, fault diagnosis and establishing route cause analysis in a busy, dynamic processing or FMCG environment. With strong communication and team working skills, candidates will work collaboratively within the engineering team, providing support and investigating means of improving plant productivity and efficiency. Also working to identify and participate in, continuous improvement projects to help increase plant efficiency, energy and costs

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
