Join our Codi Repairs Team and play a hands-on role supporting homes and communities across Newport to Monmouthshire. Your office base will be in Cwmbran, with most of your work covering the Monmouthshire to Cardiff area — keeping your days varied and on the move.
We offer a healthy work–life balance with Monday to Friday working, plus the option of compressed hours on a 9-day fortnight, giving you extra time back for you.
This is a full-time, permanent role (40 hours per week) with a competitive salary of £33,487, along with a great package designed to support you at work and beyond.

About the role
• Prioritise your core trade — carpentry, with a particular focus on full kitchen refits from removal to installation • Fit units, worktops, doors, and associated fixtures to a high standard • Complete basic plumbing tasks linked to kitchen installs (e.g. sinks, taps, connections) • Build your skills in other areas as part of a supportive, multi-skilled team • See the real-world impact of your work in people’s homes • Be part of a friendly, down-to-earth team that values your skills and supports your development

Skills and experience needed
- City & Guilds or NVQ (or equivalent) in Carpentry (or significant experience)
- Proven experience in kitchen fitting and carpentry in domestic settings
- Basic plumbing skills relevant to kitchen installations
- Confidence working in people’s homes with a professional, courteous approach
- Willingness to support other trades when required
- Flexible, positive attitude and strong commitment to health and safety
- Full UK driving licence
Bonus if you’ve worked in social housing or used mobile working systems – but not essential.
