About the Role

We’re hiring a Multi-Skilled Engineer (Instrumentation & Controls) to join our Engineering and Facilities Team at our Hoddesdon site.

This role involves engineering and maintenance operations to deliver an efficient and compliant service across the site, ensuring seamless support for the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently carry out corrective and preventative instrumentation maintenance, generated via (but not limited to) the Computer Maintenance Management system (CMMS).
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns promptly.
  • Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are completed on time.
  • Proactively assess maintenance plans, improving relevance, technical accuracy, and compliance—collaborating with the Engineering Workshop Supervisor.
  • Maintain GxP-compliant documentation for both paper-based records and the CMMS, generating accurate reports.
  • Support small projects, including design, installation, commissioning, or minor system alterations.
  • Continuously seek innovative, cost-effective methods without compromising safety or quality.
  • Monitor and replenish materials, equipment, and spare parts, flagging low stock levels for reordering.
  • Prioritise safety, proactively identifying and reporting hazardous risks to management.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to minimise disruptions, keep them informed of progress, and manage expectations for completion timelines.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
