Location: Cambridgeshire
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off | Permanent Nights
We've partnered with an established and highly respected drink manufacturer that continues to invest heavily in innovation, automation and sustainable growth.
Supplying an exciting range of premium beverage products, the business has built an outstanding reputation for quality while continually investing in its people, technology and manufacturing capability.
As the business continues to grow, they're looking to appoint an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their night engineering team.
If you enjoy solving problems, improving equipment performance and working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment where engineering is genuinely valued, we'd love to hear from you.
The Opportunity
Working across a modern manufacturing facility, you'll take ownership of engineering activities throughout the night shift, ensuring production equipment and site services operate safely, efficiently and reliably.
This is much more than a reactive maintenance role. You'll help improve equipment reliability, support continuous improvement projects and contribute towards the installation and optimisation of new manufacturing equipment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
