Multi Skilled Engineer – Reactive Repairs Team
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Multi Skilled Engineer to join our Trades Team in Swansea on a full-time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate should specialise in plumbing while also having expertise in carpentry, plastering, or general maintenance, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality repairs and maintaining excellent customer service.
As part of our Reactive Repairs team, you will play a critical role in supporting residential properties across Haverfordwest to Monmouthshire, with your base office in Swansea. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing a range of building repairs and maintenance tasks on a day-to-day basis for tenanted properties.
- Occasional support in voided properties and planned maintenance.
- Collaborating with a dynamic team while maintaining flexibility and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on work with the option for extra time off through a 9-day fortnight compressed schedule.
This is a permanent, 40-hour-per-week role with a competitive salary of £33,487, along with an excellent benefits package designed to support both your professional and personal wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality repairs and maintenance for residential properties.
- React quickly and efficiently to maintenance requests to minimise disruption for residents.
- Perform a variety of trades-based tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, or plastering as needed.
- Utilise electronic handheld devices and partake in administrative tasks where relevant.
- Act as a first point of contact for residents, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Contribute to a healthy work-life balance while maintaining high safety standards.

Requirements & Experience
Essential
- Proven expertise in plumbing, with experience in both domestic and commercial settings.
- Secondary trade skills (e.g., carpentry, plastering, general maintenance) due to the multi-skilled nature of the role.
- City & Guilds NVQ (or equivalent) or significant experience in plumbing.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues.
- Health & safety awareness to maintain a secure working environment.
- Initiative and positivity, aligned with Codi’s supportive and inclusive culture.
