Multi-Skilled Engineer
Location: Poole
Salary: £51,800 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
Shift Pattern: Panama shift 12 hour days and nights
We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing company in Poole. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the efficiency and reliability of production equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Ensure all engineering work meets safety, health, and environmental standards.
- Support production teams with technical expertise to maintain efficient operations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS system.
- Work with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Follow engineering drawings and update documentation when necessary.
- Supervise contractors and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Requirements:
- Recognised qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Level 3).
- Experience working in a maintenance/engineering role within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good understanding of production processes and manufacturing equipment.
Desirable Skills:
- PLC knowledge (Siemens S7, Mitsubishi).
- Experience with inverters, robotics, and safety regulations.
