Multi Skilled Engineering Technician
We are looking for proactive Multi Skilled Engineering Technicians to join our client's engineering team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment following recent investment and upgrades.
Staffline is recruiting Multi Skilled Engineering Technicians in Market Drayton.
The rate of pay is £57,289 per annum, plus a £5,000 signing-on bonus once you have passed probation!!
Overtime is available and is paid at time and a half.
This is a full-time permanent role working rotating shifts, and the hours of work are:
- 7am to 7pm
- 7pm to 7am
Your Time at Work
As a Multi Skilled Engineering Technician, your duties include:
- Carrying out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Diagnosing faults efficiently and completing repairs to minimise downtime.
- Supporting production by maintaining machinery, utilities and site services to required performance and safety standards.
- Completing maintenance records accurately and updating job information in the maintenance system.
- Assisting with installations, modifications, commissioning and improvement projects.
- Working collaboratively with production, quality and engineering teams to identify root causes and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensuring all activities are carried out in line with health and safety procedures, risk assessments and permit-to-work requirements.
- Supporting contractor management and ensuring work areas are kept safe, organised and compliant.

Our Perfect Worker
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in a multi-skilled fast-paced engineering or maintenance role within manufacturing, production or industrial environments.
- Apprentice trained with proven experience of working on fast-moving machinery, pumps, valves and PLC's
- Strong fault-finding
- Possess good knowledge in the areas of filling and process technology
- Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills
- Good knowledge of preventative maintenance techniques
- Team building skills and strong ability to work cross functionally
