Vestas aircoil is a global leader in the design, manufacture and servicing of air cooling solutions for the marine, power generation and industrial sectors. Since 1956, we have delivered innovative heat exchanger solutions to customers around the world.
Today, we operate manufacturing facilities in Denmark, China, Romania, the USA and the UK, supported by a global network of service professionals. While we are launching an exciting new manufacturing facility in Peterlee, Vestas aircoil has maintained a presence in the UK since 2003, providing the stability and opportunities that come with being part of an established international organisation.
As we continue to grow, we are recruiting a number of Multi-Skilled Heat Exchanger Production Technicians to support the manufacture, refurbishment and servicing of aftermarket Dry Air Coolers (DAC) and Charge Air Coolers (CAC).
About the Role
This is a varied, hands-on position within a growing manufacturing and service operation. You will be involved in producing, assembling, repairing, refurbishing and testing heat exchanger products for customers around the world.
As we establish our Peterlee operation, we are building a team with a variety of skills and backgrounds. We are not expecting candidates to have experience in every aspect of heat exchanger manufacturing, and we recognise that very few people will possess all the skills listed below.
Instead, we are looking for individuals who can bring existing skills and experience that can be developed through training into a multi-skilled production environment.
Full training will be provided on our products, processes and equipment.
For candidates seeking a varied and rewarding career, opportunities may also be available in the future to progress into Field Service Engineering roles, supporting customers both within the UK and internationally.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
