Job Role of the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in Kidderminster. This company is a recognised leader within its sector and continues to invest heavily in its people, equipment, and site infrastructure.

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance activities across a range of manufacturing and production machinery. Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you will play a key role in ensuring maximum equipment uptime while supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the site.

  • Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification (or equivalent).
  • Multi-skilled maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience carrying out planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance.

Essential Requirements for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
  • Level 3 Electrical qualification as a minimum requirement.
  • Experience working on manufacturing or production machinery.
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced engineering environment.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.

Desirable Requirements for the Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

  • Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within the UK.
  • Experience fault-finding on PLC-controlled equipment.
  • Apprenticeship-trained engineer.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement and reliability practices.
