Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Sleaford, Lincolnshire
Salary: £51,500 + Overtime
Shift: Permanent Nights – 36 Hours Per Week
The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and growing food manufacturing business. Operating from a modern production facility, the company continues to invest heavily in its people, equipment, and site infrastructure, creating a stable and progressive environment for engineers looking to develop their careers.
Working as part of a highly skilled engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a wide range of automated production and packaging equipment. The role will involve both reactive and planned maintenance activities, ensuring machinery operates efficiently and downtime is minimized.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance across manufacturing and packaging equipment.
- Responding effectively to equipment breakdowns and production issues.
- Completing planned preventative maintenance schedules.
- Fault finding on automated machinery and production systems.
- Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures.

Essential Requirements
- Experience working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities.
- Recognised engineering qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, or Multi-Skilled).
- Experience carrying out reactive, preventative, and breakdown maintenance.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced production environment.
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience within food, FMCG, packaging, or automated manufacturing environments.
- PLC fault-finding experience using inputs and outputs.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
- 18th Edition
