Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Days)
Location: Harlow, Essex
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off | 06:00 – 18:00
Salary: Up to £51,409.75, depending on skills, qualifications, and experience

Riverway Foods, part of the CPC Group, is a leading food manufacturer based in Harlow, Essex. We produce award-winning sausages and supply major UK retailers including Aldi and Tesco.
As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a qualified Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our experienced Maintenance team.
The Role
You'll play a vital role in keeping our factory running safely and efficiently by:
- Responding quickly to equipment breakdowns.
- Carrying out and improving planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Diagnosing faults and identifying root causes.
- Implementing permanent solutions to improve equipment reliability.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maximise factory performance.

About You
Essential
- Relevant qualifications as a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with reactive and preventative maintenance.
- Great communication skills and the need to be a part of a high performing team with pride.
- Able to work the 4 on, 4 off day shift pattern and commute to Harlow.

Desirable
- Experience within food manufacturing or FMCG.
- Knowledge of maintenance best practices and continuous improvement techniques.
- Understanding of how engineering supports production performance.
- Knowledge of CMMS and maintenance methodologies.
- Understanding of safe ways of working in a food environment for colleagues and consumers.
