Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £45,000
Shift Pattern: Rotating Days & Nights (6 - 6 Monday to Wednesday / 6 - 3 Thursday)

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business based in the GL56 area. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically biased engineer looking to join a fast-paced production environment with a strong engineering team and excellent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across site machinery and equipment
  • Responding to electrical breakdowns and reactive maintenance issues
  • Fault finding on production and manufacturing machinery
  • Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects
  • Working to minimise downtime and improve plant efficiency
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Electrically qualified engineer
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement
