Multi Skilled Mortgage Associate – GCB7
The Multi Skilled Mortgage Associate role supports the non-advised Direct Mortgage business by flexing across a range of activities in line with customer demand.
Responsibilities
- Conducting Rate Switch appointments on an execution-only basis
- Processing Government Charter customer requests
- Completing mid-term reviews for existing interest-only customers
- Undertaking administrative tasks as required, including CDD onboarding, merge and purge, and requesting documentation from customers
- Completing mortgage application re-keys
- Identifying customer needs and proposing appropriate solutions to strengthen the customer relationship
- Provide a high-quality service by resolving mortgage-related enquiries at the first point of contact wherever possible, to enhance efficiency and maximise customer satisfaction.
- Provide support on telephony where necessary

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong HSBC mortgage knowledge
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to regular change and support ongoing improvements to the proposition
- Consistent adherence to call processes, procedures, and guidelines
- Proven experience supporting customers through an end-to-end journey, while maintaining excellent service standards
- Confidence handling complex information, including reviewing and verifying supporting documentation for mortgage applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Evidence of influencing others and building sustainable relationships with key stakeholders
- A proven track record of high performance in a mortgage environment (minimum 6 months)
- Most recent performance rating of Performing or above
